Robots to explore the Solar Winds in the Antarctic

Needless to say sending man up to the Antarctic to study the Solar Winds and how they interact with the Earth's magnetic field are a bit dangerous and expensive. Well the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College has created a robot that can do the work for much less money and without endangering human life. Not only will this robot improve exploration in some of the Earth's harshest environments, but it may also help push along solar panel tech.
